FP NEWSPAPERS INCOME FUND INVESTOR PRESENTATION TO BE WEBCAST

Vancouver, B.C. - January 27, 2003 - FP Newspapers Income Fund (TSX:FP.UN), will participate in the Fifth Annual Income Trust Investor Symposium hosted by RBC Capital Markets. Ron Stern, Chairman and Trustee of the Fund will present an overview of the Fund's operating assets and financial performance, as well as discuss the outlook for 2003. Mr. Stern's remarks will also be available in a live webcast.
